Wooden Incense Holder Carved From Agarwood — Same Wood as the Stick

This is an incense stand first, and the material is what separates it. Ceramic, brass and stone holders are inert — they sit under the incense and take no part in it. This one is hand carved from a single piece of plantation Aquilaria. That means the holder is the same wood as the stick standing in it. It is faintly aromatic cold, and the aroma lifts as the adjacent burn warms it. Functionally it does exactly what the ceramic plate does: a tapered bore takes any stick from 1.2 to 3.0 mm, verified against all four diameters we run.

Because it is hand carved from natural material, grain and form vary piece to piece. We treat that as the product rather than as a defect. We photograph pieces above 120 mm individually before dispatch so there is no expectation mismatch. If you need visual uniformity across a retail display, this is the wrong SKU and the brass stand is the right one.

Finish matters more here than anywhere else in the holders line. We use natural oil and nothing else. A lacquered or varnished stand placed next to a burning koh-grade stick smells of lacquer within a minute, which defeats the entire reason a customer bought either object. Anything applied to a piece that will sit near heat has to be inert.

Merchandising: put this next to your top-grade stick SKU, not in the general holders section. A premium tier that consists of one expensive box of incense reads as an outlier. A premium tier with a matching object reads as a tier, and customers buy tiers.
