Batch Sampling and Batch Reservation — Evaluate the Actual Lot

A sample lets you evaluate the actual numbered lot before committing to a larger order. Natural material and production lots can vary; a retained sample is a comparison reference, not a guarantee that a later harvest or distillation will be identical.

Samples are paid, and the sample cost is credited against the first wholesale order on that product. This is our commercial policy. It does not establish that competitors’ free samples are unrepresentative or that every paid sample is cheaper.

The sample minimums are 5 g for oils, 25 g for koh-grade powder, 100 g for standard powders and single boxes for sticks. Confirm the hardware sample and packed-unit availability in the quotation. Request an amount appropriate to your evaluation rather than assuming a smaller oil quantity overrides the stated 5 g minimum.

The sample carries a lot number and the applicable written product specification. A COA, GC-MS or independent laboratory report is not automatically included with a sample or wholesale order. Confirm the requested scope, availability, fee and timetable before any report is commissioned.

Evaluate incense with the intended compatible holder or burner, under attended conditions on a stable heat-resistant surface with ventilation. For oil, a scent blotter can support comparison; do not apply it to skin or use it in a finished product without a suitable application-specific assessment.

A scent or dry-down comparison can help record preference. It cannot by itself prove botanical origin, absence of adulteration, grade or safety. If an analytical question matters, agree a suitable method and sample requirements with the laboratory.

Record which attributes you accepted or rejected, such as format, fit, packaging and scent direction. Keep the lot reference with the notes so that feedback can be connected to the material evaluated.

After written approval, we reserve the agreed available quantity of the approved agarwood-consumable lot under your name for 30 days at no charge while the main order is arranged. The reservation starts at approval, not automatically at sample dispatch. Confirm its quantity and start and end dates in writing; it does not automatically cover the entire lot. Hardware availability and reservation arrangements are agreed separately.

If you need more time, ask before the reservation expires. Any extension depends on an explicit agreement and availability; an expired lot cannot be assumed still available. A substitute lot requires renewed evaluation rather than being presented as the approved one.
