The steel-ball roll-on bottle is a travel and sampling format. The standard ball is stainless steel, with a glass alternative, but the assembly also contains a polypropylene retainer and cap. A non-plastic ball is not a claim that no plastic ever contacts the oil.
The retainer is positioned above the oil line in the intended upright fill arrangement. Tilting, inversion, transport and dispensing can change contact, so evaluate all components with the actual oil in the expected positions. We do not publish a completed universal compatibility or leaching result.
Flow depends on viscosity, temperature, the ball and its housing. We do not publish dispensing, leakage or repeated-use retention measurements. Approve the actual filled assembly and required tests before a filling or travel programme.
The 3 ml size can be considered for paid batch samples. A sample bottle does not certify a cosmetic formulation: use neat oil for evaluation on a scent strip, and allow skin use only for a finished formulation whose safety has been assessed.

Why does the ball material matter?
The ball is part of the oil-contact system. Stainless steel is the specified standard, but compatibility depends on the actual oil and complete assembly. We do not claim every plastic is unsuitable or publish a universal compatibility result.
Is the plastic housing in contact with the oil?
The PP retainer is above the oil line in the intended upright arrangement, but contact can occur during use, tilting or transport. Test the filled assembly with the actual oil and relevant positions; do not assume no plastic contact.
Will it dispense neat oud properly?
This depends on viscosity, temperature, ball and housing. Test the selected filled bottle. We do not publish dispensing, retention or leakage results guaranteeing performance with every oil, and neat oil is not supplied for direct skin application.
