Oud Oil Sold by the Documented Batch, Not by the Product Line

Oud oil and agarwood extracts should be distinguished by their actual processing route and composition. Hydro-distilled essential oil and supercritical CO₂ extract are different materials; a category name does not make every extract an essential oil or establish one universal scent architecture.

Hydro-distillation uses water and heat to recover an aromatic oil. Soaking or other preparation and the source lot can affect its profile. Do not assume every run includes the same fermentation, has no top notes or achieves a fixed yield below 0.1%. Those would require process-specific evidence.

CO₂ extraction uses pressurised carbon dioxide. The selected process and lot must be evaluated for the intended use. It is not a guarantee that every top note survives, that there is no animalic character or that a residue analysis has been performed. A process preference is not a universal ranking of quality.

We offer fresh material rather than a cellared aged range. Ask for the relevant production information and supported storage instructions. Storage may change aroma and can also cause deterioration; we do not promise that two to five years improves every lot or increases its financial value.

Each lot is identified and a sealed retention portion is held three months from dispatch. These support comparison and traceability, not a result for an unperformed test. A COA or independent GC-MS must be requested, scoped and quoted separately before commissioning.

A suitable GC-MS method may help investigate specified composition or adulterant questions. It does not automatically detect every dilution or reconstruction, quantify all resin constituents or chromones, establish geographic or wild origin, or grade the scent. Scent and dry-down alone do not prove authenticity either.

Start with the stated 5 g purchasing sample and evaluate the actual lot, for example on a scent blotter. Do not apply unassessed oil to skin or use it in a finished application without appropriate product-specific evaluation. After written approval, the agreed available quantity can be reserved for 30 days at no charge, with its start and end dates recorded.

Quote and label net weight separately from bottle capacity. We do not publish a measured density range for all lots or convert a 12 ml flask into a traditional tola mass quantity. Any required conversion must use a suitable measurement for the actual product.

Confirm the actual packaging and closure materials in the quotation and evaluate compatibility for the oil and use. Request the applicable SDS before booking freight. The shipper and carrier confirm classification, packaging and acceptance for the actual product and route.
