12 ml Attar Bottle — Crystal Tola Flask With Dab Stick

The tola flask is a cultural format rather than a technical one, and that is exactly why it matters. One tola is 12 ml — a unit of weight across the Indian subcontinent long before it became the standard measure of the Gulf attar trade — and the expected presentation is a screw cap with an integrated glass dab stick, not a dropper.

Selling excellent oil into that market in a 10 ml dropper bottle is not technically wrong. But it signals to a Gulf buyer that you are not from the trade. And that impression is expensive to undo at the counter. Matching the format is one of the cheapest credibility purchases available to a brand entering this market.

The dab stick is a functional choice, not decorative. For a material where a single millilitre is a meaningful quantity, a dropper dispenses far too generously and encourages waste. A glass rod delivers a controlled dab, wipes cleanly against the neck on withdrawal, and is chemically inert. Ours is fitted with a PTFE liner in the cap for the same reason we use it everywhere else in this line.

One honest caution that some suppliers will not volunteer: crystal is beautiful and it provides no ultraviolet protection whatsoever. A tola flask on a lit shelf will degrade the oil inside it exactly the way clear glass does. This format must ship with an opaque outer box. The box has to be the display unit rather than the flask. If you plan to merchandise the flask itself on open display, use the amber dropper bottle instead and accept the format compromise.
